I admit it, I have complained a lot at times. Please note sooner rather than later that there is a great difference between complaining and talking about feelings (which are exciting and valuable to be in touch with, and unnecessary to lock up in side). Complaining, to me, is repeating destructive mantras that drain you and your surroundings of energy.
When walking the corridors of the hospital two evenings ago before my night shift, an imaginary light bulb appeared over my head. The ComplaintTransformer came to me in a crispy and clear vision!
The ComplaintTransformer for Dummies
- You are about to complain (if you already have, go to step 3). Shut your mouth for a couple of seconds and think about something you are grateful for.
- In stead of voicing your complaint, voice your gratitude.
- Oops! You have already complained. Find two things you are grateful for, and tell them to the person you are talking to. That makes you 100 % more grateful than miserable. Victory!
By using the ComplaintTransformer, you gradually shift your focus to the things you are grateful for in your life. Isn’t it swell?
Guess who’s grateful for you, dear reader!
Have a magical little Wednesday.

Hahaha, tusen takk, mesterverket tok hele 8 timer å tegne!
